Kellogg's UK Paper Village - Gas Station

Today's Kellogg's UK Paper Village entry is the Gas Station - or Filling Station or Service Station or Tankstelle or whatever you're comfortable with. It's a nice structure having an attached garage with an opening door. The main building also features an opening door. Both of the doors open accordion style. There is also a separate pump island with two pumps attached. You'll notice in a couple of the photos that the building is a tad crooked. That's okay - for now - and will be corrected once everything is glued and braced, but I just want you to see what it looks like built-up straight from the package. The building measures 7" (17.8cm) L x 5 1/2" (14cm) H x 2 5/8" (6.7cm) W. Enjoy!

Kellogg's UK Paper Village - Butcher's & Grocer's

After posting the scans for the Kellogg's UK Paper Village the past few months, Toys and Stuff has been bringing you photos of what they look like all built up. These build-ups are straight from the package. No glue (except for one part on one building), and no bracing. Today's featured building is the combined Butcher/Grocers shop. It's quite common for model railroader's to give businesses quirky names and, I'm going out on a limb here, these building were probably intended for eventual use on a train layout (although they're just fine on their own). As such they too have some quirky names. The baker's shop is called "A. Bunn", the filling station is named "J. Winch" and today we have "Miss C. Flake" - aka Corn Flake - Grocers. The building measures 6 1/8" (15.6cm) L x 3 1/8" (7.9cm) W x 4 1/2" (11.4cm) H. Enjoy!

Kellogg's UK Paper Village - Inn

Today being Thursday, Toys & Stuff continues its look at paper models. The past few months have been devoted to Kellogg's UK Paper Village, a terrific set of small town English structures some of which would probably fit in quite well in an American New England setting. First we featured scans of the set so that you could build your own. The past few weeks have been devoted to showing what they look like built-up. Today's featured building is the Inn, a beautiful thatched-roof structure with plenty of Old World charm! The photos show the building built straight from the packaging - no glue, no bracing - and measures 5 3/8" (13.7cm) L x 3 1/2" (8.9cm) W x 5 1/8" (13cm) H Enjoy!

Kellogg's UK Paper Village - Post Office

Here we have a nice little paper building from Kellogg's UK English Village series. This is the smallest building in the series measuring 2 1/2" (6.4cm)  L x 2 3/8" (6cm) W x 4 1/4" (10.8cm) H and, like the other buildings posted the past few weeks, is shown in built-up state directly from the package - no glue, no bracing. Next week Toys & Stuff will be featuring the last building in the series, the School House and Bookstore afterwards we'll try to figure out a nice way to display these little gems. For now though - Enjoy!
